PEAK Jurassic Series 1 with C-Clamp

PEAK

Delivery 5-7 working days

PEAK’s Large Iron Retention System (LIRS) is aimed at solving the problems faced when trying to tie on hooks with large wire diameters and long shanks, which often requires the use of heavy threads. The hardened and tempered tool steel anvil/drawbar combination accepts hook wires up to .195″ in diameter.

The JS1-C1 is equipped with PEAK’s C-Clamp. The clamp is powder coated steel and designed for the 1/2″ vise riser shaft of PEAK’s JS series products and also allows for the use of PEAK’s 3/8″ accessory shaft. This clamp also has rabbeted jaws that can be reversed for maximum table thickness adjustment. The jaws ride on parallel guide rods and do not rotate when adjusted so they won’t mark your table or “walk” when you tighten the clamp. Wrench for tightening clamp is included, vise riser is locked in place with a large comfort-grip hand knob.

I took this fishing rod (9' #10)for a two week trip to the Kola Peninsula in the hunt for salmon. She gave me the fight of my life! Rod minimizes the attempts of the salmon to escape, but I still lost her. Great fishing rod!!!

Awesome choice for bonefish

I used this reel for bonefish and it worked great. It is super light and easy to use on the flats.

Love it!

This is an absolutely awesome fly reel! It's build like a tank and will last several lifetimes. It looks stunning on bamboo rods, but while a bit heavier than the modern aluminum counterparts, it balances nicely during casting. The line included with the reel is a high quality Scientific Anglers Mastery line in the weight of your choice. If you've got a few extra bucks to invest in a fine reel, this is the one!

Pretty much bullet proof

I have owned my 811 for about 4 years now and have put it through the mill. I am not the most graceful of people, I have dropped it on several occasions, smacked it up against rocks, even dropped my rod in the river as it rolled down the current and ended on the bottom of a deep pool. We fished it out and it wasn't even dented! Love this reel!

Love mine! I fish a 9’ 4wt Renegade for small bass and bluegill with a 175 Commando. Handles larger bass and trout well. But even a small bluegill is fun. Soft hackles to game changer streamers cast very well with a progressive taper. My favorite rod in the TX hill country. Jerry did a great job designing the rods. Also great customer service. Replaced a broken tip with one call. I use 5’ tips in tight quarters.

I also fish the 11’6” 8wt Renegade
